Shri. M. Narendra has taken over as Executive Director of Bank of India with effect from 6th November, 2008. Shri. Narendra was Chief General Manager at the Corporation Bank prior to the current assignment. Born on 12th July, 1954, he had joined Corporation Bank as an officer in 1975, he had held several distinguished positions in the Bank’s hierarchy in a career spanning 33 years. A B.Com and a certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers Shri. Narendra has worked extensively in areas of Credit Policy, Credit Monitoring, Risk Management, Treasury, International Banking and Economic Research for the Bank. He is also recipient of several corporate awards in the Bank during his career.
