Facilities available with STAR SECURE ACCOUNT :

  • Dematerialisation of physical share certifices
  • Rematerialisation i.e. converting electronic holding into physical certificate
  • Safe Custody of demat securities.
  • Instantaneous transfer of shares/securities.
  • Settlement of trade done in demat/ rolling segment of stock exchanges.
  • Pledge/hypothecation of demat securities.
  • Direct credit of demat shares allotted in Public/Rights/Bonus Issues.
  • Distribution of dividend through depository system.
  • Transposition-cum-demat facility to enable investors to transpose name/s of joint holder/s, alongwith the process of dematerialisation. An investor can get his/her securities dematerialised in same account if names appearing on the certificates match with the names in the account even if the names are in different order.
  • Freezing/Defreezing of account facility by which you may instruct your DPO to freeze your Star Secure Account till further notice. This way, no transaction can affect your account without your explicit authorisation.

Commodity Demat Account Facility:

Bank has joined the National Commodity Derivatives Exchange of India Ltd. (NCDEX) as a Depository Participant offering commodity demat account facility through our NSDL as well as CDSL DPOs.

While our Stock Exchange Branch is one of the Clearing Banks for settlement of trades in commodities of NCDEX,Bullion Exchange Branch is a Clearing Bank of the Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX), another premier commodity exchange.

Traders/members of NCDEX and MCX may join our Stock Exchange branch/Bullion Exchange branch and avail clearing bank facility. With our 1000 plus branches on core banking platform, traders/members of NCDEX and MCX and their clients can avail the internet banking , anywhere, anytime and multi-branch banking, easy payment and remittance solutions across our branches and branches of other banks.

In terms of SEBI directives, now PAN card details are mandatory for opening demat account.Our demat account holders who have still not furnished their PAN card details are requested to immediately provide copy of their PAN card along with original to their DP for verification.

STAR SHARE TRADE - online share trading

Bank of India brings to you an easy, convenient, transparent and speedy way of trading in a large number of shares listed on the stock exchanges through internet from office or comforts of your home. Bank of India helps integrate your bank and demat accounts with your trading account.

When you wish to buy or sell shares, you can log-in to the website of Bank of India – www.bankofindia.co.in .While placing a buy or sell order, the system checks the funds and shares available in your bank and demat account respectively and executes the trade on the stock exchange through online trading system.The bank account and the demat account are automatically debited or credited.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE
In terms of SEBI directives, now KYC compliance and PAN card details are mandatory for opening demat account. Our demat account holders who have still not furnished these details are requested to immediately provide copy of the KYC Documents and PAN card along with original to their DP for verification.
