DEPOSITORY SERVICES ( DEMAT)

Introduction 

With a view to adding value to our banking services and making available the numerous benefits of depository system to our clients, Bank of India has been offering Demat services under STAR SECURE ACCOUNT through both Depositories viz.National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) and Central Depository Services (India) Ltd. (CDSL).While Bank`s NSDL DPO was set up at Mumbai in 1999, the Main CDSL DPO was set up in 2000-01 at Bank’s Andheri (West) Branch, Mumbai.

Star Secure Account can be opened by individuals including NRIs, corporates, stock Brokers, Clearing Members of Stock Exchanges with one of our Branches

  • No Account Opening charges
  • No custody fee
  • No charges on credits to Accounts
  • Sophisticated Back Office System for effective customer service through networking of large number of branches.
  • More than 300 branches enabled to provide time critical DP services to clients.(NSDL / CDSL)
  • Clients can submit delivery instructions to their nearest branch for execution. 
  • Our  DPO clients can view their account position, know status of their debit instructions issued, download account statement
    through internet.
  • Commodity demat account facility available with both our NSDL and CDSL DPOs to the member traders and their clients of the National Commodity Derivatives Exchange of India Ltd. (NCDEX).
  • Our CDSL ,DPO Clients can also submit debit instructions through internet under `easiest` facility from the comforts of their home/office at no extra cost
